♥ Bound to the house... ball, chain and child.
b/c I am to cheap to register the saab (I intend to trade it in or hopefully sell it with in the next 2 weeks) I am more or less stuck in the house on my days off. It is saving me money, but I'm bored to tears. Shaun works all day so it's just me and Kaison. He trashes the place, I pick up, he eats I do dishes, he sleeps I try to get in anything else I can't do with in his line of sight (i.e. shower)
I do enjoy my time with him, but I would like it to be more constructive. I'd love to visit people, malls, parks. You know... fun stuff. Right now we visit his room, my room the bathroom. Sometimes the yard and now and then we take a walk around the block or to the mail box!
Since there isn't a whole lot more to post aside from the above mentioned this entry will be fairly short.

♥ A true legend is gone.
Worth mentioning...
The King of Pop, Michael Jackson, died today of cardiac arrest. He was 50. I was floored. And as if it was crazy enough news behind Farrah Fawcett's death this morning (she died of a long and tragic battle with cancer) and Ed McMahon who also died of cancer among other problems, my mom had to bring it all home with the comment that she and MJ are the same age.
Which reminds me... the lawn is currently only half mowed. My mom was mowing when I burst out into the yard to tell her the news of MJ's death. She was so surprsied she stopped to gape at me and stalled out the lawn mower. She gave up and came in to do her own news reading and shower.
What a terrible terrible day in Hollywood. =(
R.I.P. Michael, Farrah and Ed McMahon. Rest In Peace.

♥ Chicken and chips... the chocolate kind.
This is why I am fat. KFC chicken and chocolate chips straight from the bag for dessert. It's like I know I have a problem, but I can't do anything about it. Sad. Woe is me... I did take a walk with Kaison today. Plus right?
New topic. Shaun and I like to joke about his ghost. I call it his ghost he says it is mine, but either way sometimes weird things happen around us. Mostly with lights or orbs in pics but occasionally we get the freaking out dog or scared for unknown reasons child too. Well tonight I was trying to read in the bedroom, but the light refused to stay on. It was just flashing at random intervals and would stay out for sporadic amounts of time. I even stated at one point "I am trying to read here!" And the light promptly turned back on. After 6-8 times of this happening though I gave up and put the book down and turned on the t.v. Light hasn't flickered since. Go figure.
So I flipped through the channels and found there was next to nothing to watch which isn't unusual since I am not a big t.v. person so it holds my attention for about 45 seconds. I did manage to sit through an episode of America's Got Talent and was disappointed by out country's representation. *tisk tisk* Britain was way talented!
Now I'm waiting on Shaun to get home. I bitch and moan about him when he is here, but I miss him a lot when he is away.
The past few days have been so boring. ♥ Jon & Kate Plus the Cake Boss....
I have decided I really like the TLC show Cake Boss. After watching the "big announcement" episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 *so sad* I caught the 2 episodes of Cake Boss and thought it was brilliant!! I love to see the cakes. Funny b/c I follow a cake blog on here yet I should be the last person invited into a bakery or allowed to touch anything like that. I have zero artistic talent and even less baking/cooking abilities.
Like I mentioned I watched the Jon & Kate Plus 8 everyone has been oogleling about. It's a shame they couldn't make it work out. I wish they could. Of course it for the kids, but still I think both Jon and Kate deserve to be happy with someone and really I wish it were with each other.
Working around the clock.... literally. My weekends suck. Wish I could jump the train to Boston with Linds like she wants too. I am not even allowed to ask/request time off from work. How shitty is that?! Like it's my fault Jill (my manager) decided to hire college kids with restricted schedules or National Guard reserves who can't work weekends and another night auditor who takes every single weekend off. What the hell. Then the one person who hasn't requested silly schedules gets shit on?! Figures. Shaun finally got a job and of course Jill goes and changes my schedule to one I can not work b.c of Shaun's new job which he got to work around my usually schedule so when I tell scribbles all over the calendar and schedules "NO MORE RTO" I wish I could tell her to get bent!!! Once Selina takes off to Europe in less than 2 weeks I will be the only original front desk agent who opened this hotel and I am the one getting the shaft around here. I am the one who is walked all over and has to move schedules around and I am so tired of it. Just tonight Brianna tried to get me to switch all kids of crazy hours around b/c the past 3 Fridays in a row she makes plans for something other than work and needs someone to cover, well tonight I told her no. I can't anyway. I don't have anyone to watch Kaison.
Pisses me off. Now I am all aggravated. I'm going to get some work done. Whatever else I was going to update is out the window now. I think I am just over tired.

♥ Ignore the pics...
I was testing, again. Some pic apps although that 4wheeler is for sale if you were interested.
In other news Shaun landed a job at Brazo in P-town working for his old chef from School. I'm glad b/c now I don't have to search for a second job to secure our finances for a move we are planning this fall.
While Shaun was hammering out the details of his job Kaison and I walked around downtown Portsmouth, just a few blocks in either direction from the restaurant, and we came up on the Chase house. I hear it is supposed to be suppper haunted. Although no one seems to have bothered us. We also found a cute little park with some swings that we hung around in for a few minutes. That was nice. Kaison loooooooves to play on swings. I think it is the wind in his face he really likes.
These past few days we also brought Kaison swimming for the first time. We went over to my work where there is an indoor somewhat heated pool and jacuzzi. He liked to be in the baby float, but that was about it! Holding him in the water was out of the question!! I thought it was a good first go!

I have to go switch the car seat to the Saab and the wash to the dryer. Later!

♥ Swim baby swim!!!
Shaun and I watched Push today. I like it. I really like Dakota Fanning. She is a talented young lady and I hope she sticks with the entertainment business. After the movie I decided I wanted to take Shaun and Kaison to the hotel for some swimming and hot tub!
It was Kaison's first time in the pool (well, beyond the top step anyway) and he did pretty good. He preferred to be cruisin' around in his baby float verses having Shaun or I holding him in the pool, but all in all it was a good time!
We got a $45 check from The Little Red Wagon today. I bring some of our used baby furniture and Kaison's winter clothes there. It's like a consignment shop. Usually the checks are like $15-20 so I was surprised to see it for almost $50! I send the rest of Kaison's clothes to Jayden, my cousin Courtney's son who is six months younger than Kaison. Recently though Jayden has become heavier then Kaison and b/c Kaison hasn't really been growing I haven't had to swap him out of his clothes or send anything to Court. =(
Right now Shaun is cooking dinner. Steak and suddenly salad. We're going to watch The Uninvited after and then I will probably crash pretty hard. It was awful getting up at 2:30am for work. yikes!

♥ Just a quickie... I've heard that one before!
Yesterday wasn't very eventful... just like most days of my life. Shaun and I ran a few errands (milk, eggs, ect) and we stopped for some lunch at McDonald's w/Kaison. Shaun was supposed to have an interview at the Governor's Inn, but the owners were not there when we were so we came home and watched a few t.v. shows. I love that Wipeout show! Something about people you know, wiping out! Makes me laugh! I also adore Gene Simmons for some reason. His son Nick is a tool, but I like watching Gene, Shannon and Sophie. I wish my family were that cool!
Around 5:00pm Shaun did go for his interview and also had his old school instructor/Chef call and offer him a job while he was in the other interview. Figures he would go for 1 job and be offered 2.
When he got home I pretty much turned in for the evening. I had to get up for 2:30am and work the overnight. That sucked. I felt like I was driving drunk to work b/c I was so tired. By 3:30am I was back to napping out behind the desk. haha! I sleep at work and I don't care who's around!
That brings us to the here and now. Kaison and I are baking brownies. Well, Kaison is sitting in his highchair watching t.v. from the kitchen while the brownies bake.
I was supposed to go and have orientation at a new Target store opening in Greenland this morning, but I have decided I don't want a 2nd job, at least not one that's so far away and pays a sh*tty $8.00 an hour. It's not worth it.
So the brownies are just about done and Kaison is getting a little restless. More to come later!!

♥ This blog may just make it!
Already back again! Maybe I should give myself more credit with this blog.
Today I got off a VERY long shift around 7:00am I say long b/c I actually stayed awake through it anticipating Jill's arrival which never even happened, bitch. But as I was driving home I remembered that I had left my cell phone/life line behind the desk. I was nearly home so I decided not to turn around and that proved to be a mistake. I had a hard time sleeping for fear of not waking in time for work tonight. I use my cell as my alarm clock amongst other things.
I managed to fall asleep around noon only to be woken 2 hours later to the sweet sound of my bestest friend EVER's voice! Lindsay was in town and stopped by to visit with her Godson and me of course! We went out for lunch where I had a salad and Shaun and Linds ordered sandwiches at Quizno's. "They've got a pepper bar!"
We had a nice visit with Linds, that was much to short b/c I have a shitty schedule of continuous 12 hour shifts all weekend and needed to get back into bed.
I had a couple of dreams that I woke up late and didn't get to work in time so this kept me semi conscious of the time and checking the clock alot. If I had my phone w/the alarm set I am sure this would not have happened. Needless to say I woke up cranky and when Kaison had ventured in to see him mommy getting ready for work I was a bit cold and dismissive to him which I feel terrible about now. =(
Here I am at work bored and feeling bad about not smooching and playing with Kaison for even a few minutes. I have 2 middle eastern Indonesian people continuously calling my hotel trying to reach a guy who is probably out eating dinner. Like the grown man is not allowed to have a life or something. ugh.

♥ wow, I made it back for day #2.
So I have even surprised myslef for making it back to a second blog entry. I only say this b/c I keep a livejournal which I have had for 6 years-ish so creating a blog seems a bit, repetitive...?
Anyway, I'm on another 12 hour shift, but I got plenty of sleep today so tonight shouldn't be so bad. Although Jill my douchebag of a boss says she will be in by 2:00am. That can't be good. ugh. Maybe she is trying to relieve me since I have OT this week. We'll see. Incentive for a 3rd blag entry? I think so.
Today was a slow day for me. I spent a few hours playing with Kaison this morning and hanging around with my mom. Talked to my dad on the phone. He told me his dog, Buddy, has an infection around his asshole again. poor little guy. Something about the scent glands back there pluging up.
Other than that I took a few Tylenol PM and slept a good 7.5 hours! woo!
Work is busy enough. We have some softball team in house. The families are nice, but needy. That's my luck. The pizza guy who just delivered is cute too BTW. Just wanted to throw that in here.

♥ First blog entry...
New blog. Probably won't stick but we'll give it a go.
Here's a full run down of today.
Got out of work at 7:00am. Changed a super shitty diaper on Kaison and also needed to change his crib sheet. *blah!* Feed him toast, kix and banana yogart which he chose to feed to the floor and A-Li as well. I tried to make myself a salad, but it came out tasing like crap. This is why I am over weight. It's just easier to order out or throw something on the Georgie.
Kaison and I played with his toys, I read him some books as he tore the pages out and around 10:15am Shaun decided to waltz out of bed and take over baby duty so I could get some sleep.
It was short lived however when I had to get up around 3:00pm while Shaun went to P-town for an job interview. I have been awake since and made it to work at 7:01pm.
Working a crappy 12 hours shift tonight and the following 2 nights, which I am not excited about, but I have decided I like this font I am typing in, plus!
Lots of high school chicken heads running all around the hotel tonight and if it's not one of them or theie cheap parents bugging me, it's some middle eastern wife of a creepy in house guest callig every 5 minutes from who cares where.
Since this is my first blog maybe I should say a little diddy about myself. I am a 25 year old mother to a 1 year old and wife to a chef. I'm not crazy about my job or current living situation, but am working on a change. I'm short and morbidly obese with anger managment issues and an identicle birth mark to that of my twin brothers.
